We all have Halflives

I think it's time to introduce you to a new band. Today it will be an alternative rock band from Italy with beautiful female vocals - Halflives.

Under this name, the band exists only a few months. Before that, they existed for several years as a band OVER. But everything once changes and need to move on, look for a new sound and a new stage of life, and all this led them to Halflives.

And we wanna talk about their amazing music.

In September 2016 they released the single Mayday and the combination of voice, a guitar riff and a good drums, this song is a worthy debut single to start moving on as a new band.

Their next single - Burn was released in December 2016. In those days we just found out about Halflives, and this song was actually the first one that we heard. The song catchy not only its sound, the rhythms of the guitar and Linda's pleasant strong voice but also the lyrics. In this lyrics you can find so many different emotions, this storm of emotions, which catches from the first second and the first word. Burn sounds like a hymn, like something that can move you. It's still in our top ...

So, on the eve of their album was released a single Echo, along with a music video. The video is like a work of art, it's really very beautiful, as the song itself. Views of nature, the castle, everything is shot very qualitatively and professionally, bravo to the director.

And now about the whole album. Empty Rooms out on April 14, which included 8 songs, including all three singles. Empty Rooms is perhaps the right name that should be on such an album, but with one exception. Each song, as a separate story, they are divided into their rooms, fill them with themselves. In the end, it turns out one big story, which Linda tells through the lyrics, transmits through the emotions that she puts into every word. This is the case when you believe the singer, when you are also touched by words, by music.

Lone Wolf, Burn, Mayday, Echo, The Sickness, Half Alive, Empty Room and Collide.

Eight songs that make up the album as one good mosaic. Collide. It completes the whole album starting with a beautiful intro, supporting its story and you just should listen to it. Or The Sickness, which touches not only its lyrics, but also the choral part.

Linda has really strong, good vocals and she can be compared to Amy Lee or Hayley Williams, but don’t do it. Halflives have their own story, sound, style and we can see what they achieved during this time, how they changed from sounding in Over to sounding in Halflives, like Empty Rooms. Really good progress!

In April they have a small tour around Italy, who reads us from this beautiful country, don't miss the chance to see Halflives. At the end of May, they are already planning a tour in support Courage My Love, which will end in the UK, and we also advise you not to miss such a chance.

Я думаю это время, чтобы вновь познакомить вас с новой группой. Сегодня это будет альтернативная рок группа из Италии с красивым женским вокалом – Halflives.

Под этим именем группа существует всего несколько месяцев. До этого, они существовали несколько лет как группа Over. Но все когда-то меняется и нужно двигаться дальше, искать новое звучание и новый этап жизни, что и привело их к Halflives.

И мы хотим поговорить об их музыке.

Она цепляет не только своим звучанием, ритмами гитары и приятным сильным голосом Линды, но и самой лирикой. В тексте можно найти столько разных эмоций, эта буря эмоций, что цепляет с первых секунд и первого слова. Burn звучит как гимн, как что-то, что способно сдвинуть тебя. Она все еще в нашем топе…

Итак, накануне их альбома вышел сингл Echo,вместе с музыкальным клипом. Клип похож на произведение искусства, он правда очень красив, как и сама песня. Виды природы, замок, все снято очень качественно и профессионально, браво режиссеру.

А теперь обо всем альбоме. "Empty Rooms" вышел 14 апреля, куда вошло 8 песен, включая все три сингла. Пустые Комнаты это возможно то самое название, что должно быть у такого альбома, но с одним исключением. Каждая песня, как отдельная история, они распределены по своим комнатам, наполняют собой их. В итоге это получается одна большая история, которую рассказывает Линда через лирику, передавая через эмоции, что вкладывает в каждое слово. Это тот случай, когда веришь исполнителю, когда тебя также пробирает от слов, от музыки. Lone Wolf, Burn, Mayday, Echo, The Sickness, Half Alive, Empty Room и Collide. Восемь песен, составляющие альбом как одна хорошая мозаика. Одна Collide чего стоит. Она завершает весь альбом начиная красивым интро, поддерживая своей историей и гитарной партией. Или The Sickness, что трогает не только своей лирикой, но и хоровой партией.

У Линды действительно сильный, хороший вокал и ее можно сравнить с Эми Ли или Хейли Уильямс, но не делайте этого. Halflives имеет свою историю, свое звучание, свой стиль и если взглянуть чего они достигли за такое время, как они выросли от звучания в Over до звучания в Empty Rooms. Действительно хороший прогресс.

В апреле у них начинается небольшой тур по Италии, кто читает нас из этой прекрасной страны, не упустите шанс увидеть Halflives. В конце мая у ребят уже намечается тур в поддержку группы Courage my love, который закончится в Великобритании, и вам мы тоже советуем не упустить такой шанс.
